Some badass shit is coming down.  First and foremost… I got my new super-computer.  Just to get everyone up to speed, here are the stats of my new special lady:

I got a totally smoking deal on the thing too.  I scoured the internet until I got a coupon code from Coupin Mountain (http://www.couponmountain.com/) and got $500 bucks off the total price and free shipping.  I tracked my little baby every day on its long journey from Shanghai China to Anchorage Alaska and finally here to San Diego in FedEx’s little tracking site.

The best thing about this new rig is that I have started burning everything in sight.  I got this kickass DVD burner and a couple progz off piratebay that let you just rip the living shit out of the movie industry.

AnyDVD (instantly removes all copy protection and encryption from the offending disk)
CloneDVD2 (after protection is removed this proggy allows you to easily copy any DVD with just a couple quick clicks and a disk swap)

Brad told me that using DVD XCOPY was the way to go, but the problem is that after that company got totally shut down a few years ago by the feds they stopped updating their software and it doesn’t work on the newer 64bit operating systems (i.e. Vista).

So I’ve already upgraded my NetFlix account to the 3 movie unlimited setup so there will be a non-stop flow of killer movie madness flowing into my little condo like a motherfucker.

I’ve heard a lot of negative buzz about Vista.  First of all, I can see some real probs with it.  I don’t like the idea of the built in protection for “PREMIUM CONTENT”.  “PREMIUM CONTENT” meaning HD DVD or BLUERAY DISK movies or really ANY HD video content.  This means that there is supposedly code in the operating system itself that will not only prohibit use of unregistered video or hardware on the computer system but will reduce the quality of the output of premium content that is passing through unregistered software/hardware.

Think about it this way, its tough enough to get any Microsoft product working well without bugs and issues and bullshit.  Now imagine that those programmers and developers went back into the code and built in shit that will actually INTENTIONALLY fuck shit up if it doesn’t meet certain specs.  Its totally retarded.  Lets just go out and make everything shittier just for kicks.  Its like how they went back into E.T. and switched out all the guns with flashlights. FUCKING MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, HD DVD and BlueRay hasn’t even been fully actualized as of yet but we are already building hardships into the system to fuck it up.  The stupid thing is that pirates and high-school kids and southeast asian programmers are gonna find workarounds anyway, it’s only gonna be a limitation for the everyday zombie idiot joe-schmoe computer user.

I also just loaded the new Office 2007 onto my computer .. god .. that’s a whole other bag of worms.  I can’t even begin to talk about how retarded that whole debacle is.

So alright, enough nerd talk Well… maybe.

Well it also just occurred to me that not many people out there know how to use BitTorrent so maybe I’ll put up a quick how-to and maybe recruit some new pirates into the ever growing ranks.  In a world where the only crime is getting caught you need to be as educated as possible.

Down and Dirty How-To download pirated shit off the Internet using BitTorrent:

1 – download and install Bit Tornado (a little better in my opinion that the mark-1 mod-0 ‘bittorrent’)
2 – go to The Pirate Bay (http://thepiratebay.org/)
3 – search for whatever the hell software or tv show or movie or playstation game or blah blah blah
4 – save the “torrent” file to your hard disk and then double click that piece.

At this point the stuff will be coming down to your hard drive and just do whatever you want with it from there.

One extra note, most of the time you will need a program like PowerISO or Alcohol120% to simulate the disk and use the file that you just downloaded. (Both of which you can download off Pirate Bay)
